Nehemiah: Morning Bible Study

October 3 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 9:00am on Wednesday, repeating until November 28, 2018

Join us this fall as we study the book of Nehemiah. This book is not just about rebuilding the wall that had been destroyed around the city of Jerusalem; Nehemiah is a critical leader during an important time in Israel’s history. He was appointed by God to be instrumental in re-settling the Jews back in Jerusalem, with the help of a pagan King, after 70 years in captivity.  He helps Ezra the priest re-establish the Temple worship as a new generation learns how to worship the living God.  It is a pivotal point in biblical history, and one of the last books written in the Old Testament cannon. We watch as God’s chosen people learn to live in covenant relationship with him again as they continue to wait for the coming Messiah.

This study meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:00-11:00 in the 601.

Cost of this study: $15

Childcare is available for an additional Cost: $20 (for the fall semester)

This study will begin on September 12.
