Intentional Ministry Requires Intentional Giving
Share Your 2024 Intended Giving
In order to plan effectively and steward well, we are asking you to intentionally determine how much you will donate to Village Church for the rest of 2024, as well as forecast your 2025 giving to the best of your ability. This will allow us to build disciples intentionally with a focus on people over programs.
We know things change and life happens. We will in no way hold you to the exact numbers you submit. However, we ask that you use this as an opportunity to faithfully steward what God has given you financially, so we can faithfully and collectively steward the souls God has given us to care for at Village Church.
If you have any questions or wish to see regular updates about our finances, visit vcob.org/give or contact our Administrative Pastor, Steve Boyd, at sboyd@vcob.org.

Promotion Sunday
June 2 | 9:30 a.m. – 1:30p.m. | Village Church of Bartlett
Cultivate some fun with our Next Gen Team and celebrate the end of the school year well done! We will celebrate Village Kids, The 5/6, and Forge students who have completed another year and prepare to grow into our summer program, where students promote to the next grade! Join us in the green space in the back of the church building between services and after the third service for a time of play, celebration, and preparation for what is to come! Please be prepared to join your student for this time of celebration. Students should come ready to do some jumping and playing! Students entering in the fall of 2024 1st, 5th, 7th, 9th grades- along with graduating Seniors should be sure to stop by their ministry’s tables to receive a gift. Parents, join in on the fun as we have developmental resources available for you as your child grows into their next stage!
Please note: Children should be dropped off in their classrooms for this school year one last time on June 2 and will celebrate the end of that grade. On June 9, Kindergarten through fifth grade will move up to their new classrooms.
Summer Picnic
June 2 | Late Afternoon | Antioho Home
Join us for the first summer picnic of the summer! During the summer, we get outdoors for a monthly, late afternoon, church-wide picnic at Dave & Julie Antioho’s house (30W393 Army Trail Rd., Wayne, IL 60184). These picnics are a great time to connect with others and enjoy food, games, and swim time. If this is your first time joining us, here are some important things you need to know. It’s a potluck, so please bring a main dish and a dessert or side dish to share. If your last name starts with A-L, bring a dessert. If your last name starts with M-Z, bring a side. Bring something to sit on (a picnic blanket, camping chairs, etc.), disposable eating utensils (plates, cutlery, napkins), and bathing suits for the open swim time. Save the dates for future Summer Picnics, which will be July 7, August 4, and September 8.
