What is VYCA?

VCYA exists to disciple young adults as they take their next steps with Jesus during their college/20’s stage of life. We share a meal and engage in conversation about the Bible and its authority over our lives in the midst of a challenging culture. VCYA is led by Pastor Matt Soules and his wife, Lauren.

What does a typical gathering involve?

VCYA meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the Village Church of Bartlett. After sharing a meal (usually tacos for Taco Tuesday!), we move into a biblical discussion led by either Pastor Matt or a member of the group. Lastly we pray for one another and close the evening around 7:30 p.m. Contact Pastor Matt for more information and to put your order in for tacos if you can make it!

What does VCYA value?

  • TRUTH: Teaching the Bible as authoritative and necessary for personal transformation
  • EXPERIENCES: Regularly providing opportunities to learn from and connect with each other in meaningful ways
  • RELATIONSHIPS: Intentionally building spiritual relationships with peers and leaders
  • MINISTRY: Providing a gateway for young adults to use their spiritual gifts and talents in the local church
