Village Church Young Adults
Formed to the Image of Christ
Young adults who are committed to following Jesus more closely and investing in one another’s lives.
What is VYCA?
VCYA exists to disciple young adults as they take their next steps with Jesus during their college/20’s stage of life. We share a meal and engage in conversation about the Bible and its authority over our lives in the midst of a challenging culture. VCYA is led by Pastor Matt Soules and his wife, Lauren.
What does a typical gathering involve?
VCYA meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the Village Church of Bartlett. After sharing a meal (usually tacos for Taco Tuesday!), we move into a biblical discussion led by either Pastor Matt or a member of the group. Lastly we pray for one another and close the evening around 7:30 p.m. Contact Pastor Matt for more information and to put your order in for tacos if you can make it!
What does VCYA value?
- TRUTH: Teaching the Bible as authoritative and necessary for personal transformation
- EXPERIENCES: Regularly providing opportunities to learn from and connect with each other in meaningful ways
- RELATIONSHIPS: Intentionally building spiritual relationships with peers and leaders
- MINISTRY: Providing a gateway for young adults to use their spiritual gifts and talents in the local church
