Vacation Bible School 2026

July 20 -24 | Village Church of Bartlett

We are pleased to announce this year’s VBS theme Agency D3! In today’s world, kids are pressured on all sides to accept what teachers, friends, and society tell them about Jesus. But they don’t need to fall under that pressure! At Agency D3™️, they will become secret agents and investigate for themselves!  Kids will spend the week collecting evidence about the life of Jesus by examining eyewitness accounts, physical proof, and biblical records. They will discover the facts about who Jesus is, decide what to do with the evidence they’ve gathered, and gain the confidence they need to step out in faith and defend what they believe! VBS is open to Preschool – 6th Grade students.

Volunteer at Vacation Bible School 2026

July 20 -24 | Village Church of Bartlett

We are looking for both adults and students (7th Grade+) to facilitate VBS. You help by decorating, preparing snacks, running outdoor activities, leading small groups, playing with babies, and so much more. Not only will you have the chance to use your talents and skills to the glory of God, but you will also have the opportunity to form lasting connections with fellow volunteers and children alike. Volunteers like you create amazing experiences for our kids and students to learn more about our good God.

Volunteer in AWANA

September 14 – May 3 | 6:00 – 8:00 | Village Church of Bartlett

AWANA meets Monday nights during the school year to engage in large-group teaching, small-group discipleship, and game time. AWANA wouldn’t be possible without an amazing team of volunteers to pour into the kids each week. As a volunteer, you can sign up to be with Cubbies (Ages 3-4), Sparks (Grades K-2), or T&T (Grades 3-6), which are described above. We also need volunteers to serve with administration, join our special needs team, or fill in as subs! Our volunteers also receive a discount code for registering their students in AWANA as a token of our thanks.

Village Women: Book Discussion

June 30 | 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. | Village Church of Bartlett

Join us for a summer book discussion! We will read a book on our own and gather to discuss. Not only are we learning, but by meeting in a group, we find it helps us read deeper, knowing we are going to discuss the book. It gives us the opportunity to think further and know that we can discuss things we don’t understand as well as listen to others’ perspectives on the book that may be different. Join us June 30 as we discuss Humble Roots: How Humility Grounds and Nourishes Your Soul by Hannah Anderson.

The Creator’s Pattern: An Evening Exploring the Golden Ratio

July 6 | 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. | Village Church of Bartlett

Join us for an evening exploring the beauty, order, and wonder woven into creation through the Golden Ratio. This mathematical proportion appears when the relationship between two parts reflects the relationship of the whole. This pattern is often found in nature, art, and design, where it creates a sense of balance, beauty, and harmony. Jennifer Anderson, M.A.EL., M.A.Ed., NBCT, will facilitate the evening, sharing how patterns in nature, design, and mathematics reveal glimpses of God’s wisdom and creativity. This evening is an opportunity to grow in awe of God, our incredible Creator, as He makes Himself known through the world He has made. While topics are mathematical, this evening is geared for the whole family to enjoy. If you know of someone who may enjoy this topic, please pass this registration along! There is no cost to attend, but please register so we can plan accordingly.

Grandparents, you are invited to the Legacy Grandparenting Summit 2026, the only national conference focused on Christian grandparenting. Centered on this year’s theme, “A Heart for Eternity,” the summit is designed to encourage and equip grandparents to embrace their biblical role in helping pass on faith to the next generation. This day-long summit will offer practical encouragement, nationally known speakers, and helpful tools for sharing faith with confidence and purpose. As churches continue discipling the next generation, this summit highlights the unique and often underused role grandparents can play in making an eternal impact.
