Thanksgiving Food Drive
October & November 2026
The Thanksgiving Food Drive provides Thanksgiving meals to families in the Bartlett area who are in need. We do this in partnership with our local Jewel-Osco and Bartlett-area schools. This year, we will serve households from six schools. Volunteers make this event possible. Sign up today!
Village Men: Wednesday Studies

Join the Village Men’s Wednesday Studies for a weekly opportunity to study God’s Word. Dave Torres Sr. will lead us through various books of the Bible and key topics for men, and we would love for you to join us anytime! Village Men: Saturday Studies

Adult Baptism Class
October 11 | 8:00 – 9:05 a.m. and 9:30 – 10:35 a.m. | Village Church of Bartlett
Have you been considering getting baptized? Or do you have some questions about what baptism signifies and why it’s important? Come to our next Adult Baptism Class to discuss these things. We would love for you to attend this class if you are interested in getting baptized at Village Church or getting a better understanding of baptism. We will have a class during the 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. services, so you can choose the time that works best for you! Both classes will meet in Classroom 1.
Perennials
October 15 | 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. | Village Church of Bartlett
Perennials is a ministry gathering for those who are 55+, able to meet during the daytime, committed to long-term growth, finishing well, and aging with purpose as followers of Jesus Christ. We gather on the third Thursday of each month for fellowship, teaching, prayer, and fun. We will continue the Biblical Lives series as we consider the fearless and faithful Daniel.
Replanted
The Replanted ministry provides support and connection for foster and adoptive families. Adults work through a discipleship curriculum designed by Replanted while children meet in a separate space with trained childcare mentors who understand their journey. Families and volunteers then enjoy a meal together. A chapter of Replanted meets monthly at Village Church as a part of the Open Hearts Open Homes ministry. Groups meet with the same members from September to May, giving you the opportunity to develop safe, life-giving relationships with one another.
Village Women: Moms’ Prayer Group
October 24 | 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. | DeAnn Selvaggio’s Home
Moms of adult children, join us for monthly prayer gatherings to connect with other moms in a similar season and lift up your requests to the Lord. Our hope is to encourage mothers of children who are over the age of 18. Please register for this event, and we will send you the address.
Forge: Fall Social
October 25 | 6:15 – 8:45 p.m. | Village Church of Bartlett
Join us for a night of dancing and pie at our Fall Social for all students in grades 7-12. This is an informal event, and you do NOT need to have a date to attend. Attire is also informal and casual – think fall informal attire – but wear something that you can move comfortably in, as we will be doing some line dancing and square dancing! You are also welcome to bring friends. Please register below so we can plan accordingly.
Forge: Costume Party
October 29 | 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. | Village Church of Bartlett
Forge will be hosting our annual costume party during our weekly Forge night on October 29. Students in grades 7-12 are invited to dress up in fun or creative costumes. We do ask that they are intentional in not dressing up in a way that glorifies violence, gore, or death*. The five contest categories will be overall best individual, duo, and group costumes, as well as the most creative and most punny costumes. The night will also include a small group pumpkin carving contest!
*Note: Students wearing inappropriate costumes may be asked to change.
Village Men: First Tuesday
November 3 | 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. | Village Church of Bartlett
Village Men, come and enjoy fellowship, a meal, worship, teaching, discussion, and prayer. This season, our focus at First Tuesdays is Men of Faith: Life Lessons for Today. Each First Tuesday, we will explore the lives of men in Scripture and discover timeless lessons for following God faithfully today. Together, we’ll be challenged to grow in courage, integrity, leadership, purpose, and our relationship with Christ as we seek to live out our faith in everyday life. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month apart from January and July.
Serve at Village Church
If you are a member or a regular attendee of Village Church, we would love for you to jump in and serve! There are many ways that you can serve, such as with Adult Discipleship, our Next Gen ministries, Outreach and Care Ministries, and even with Communications or Facilities. If you are looking to jump in and serve on Sunday mornings, check out our Sunday service page, which includes our most urgent needs. Whether working in a Village Kids classroom, making coffee for our guests, or setting up for ministry events, there is a place for you!
