Week of Outreach

Week of Outreach

April 21-27

The Week of Outreach is an opportunity to serve alongside one another in an effort to love and serve others. Grounded in the understanding that our good works are a response to the salvation graciously given to us by God, this initiative embodies our commitment serving our partner organizations in an effort to generously serve the vulnerable. Drawing inspiration from passages like Titus 3:8 and Matthew 5:14-16, we aim to shine as beacons of Jesus’ love and light in our local context. Throughout this week, you are invited to choose a service opportunity planned by a group that you attend (ie: Village Men, Perennials, Forge, etc.). Each ministry has planned a service project to serve The Ruth Project, The Forgotten Initiative, the Evangelical Child and Family Agency, or Safe Families.  Check out the full roster of project opportunities here

Intentional Ministry Requires Intentional Giving

Share Your 2024 Intended Giving

In order to plan effectively and steward well, we are asking you to intentionally determine how much you will donate to Village Church for the rest of 2024, as well as forecast your 2025 giving to the best of your ability. This will allow us to build disciples intentionally with a focus on people over programs.

We know things change and life happens. We will in no way hold you to the exact numbers you submit. However, we ask that you use this as an opportunity to faithfully steward what God has given you financially, so we can faithfully and collectively steward the souls God has given us to care for at Village Church.

If you have any questions or wish to see regular updates about our finances, visit vcob.org/give or contact our Administrative Pastor, Steve Boyd, at sboyd@vcob.org.
