Vacation Bible School 2026

July 20 -24 | Village Church of Bartlett

We are pleased to announce this year’s VBS theme Agency D3! In today’s world, kids are pressured on all sides to accept what teachers, friends, and society tell them about Jesus. But they don’t need to fall under that pressure! At Agency D3™️, they will become secret agents and investigate for themselves!  Kids will spend the week collecting evidence about the life of Jesus by examining eyewitness accounts, physical proof, and biblical records. They will discover the facts about who Jesus is, decide what to do with the evidence they’ve gathered, and gain the confidence they need to step out in faith and defend what they believe! VBS is open to Preschool – 6th Grade students.

Volunteer at Vacation Bible School 2026

July 20 -24 | Village Church of Bartlett

We are looking for both adults and students (7th Grade+) to facilitate VBS. You help by decorating, preparing snacks, running outdoor activities, leading small groups, playing with babies, and so much more. Not only will you have the chance to use your talents and skills to the glory of God, but you will also have the opportunity to form lasting connections with fellow volunteers and children alike. Volunteers like you create amazing experiences for our kids and students to learn more about our good God.

Summer Serve

May 31 – August 23 | Village Church of Bartlett

If you have been thinking about serving with Village Kids regularly or just want to jump in for the summer, Summer Serve is the perfect opportunity for you! You can serve weekly, twice a month, once a month, specific weeks, or as a sub. Summer Serve allows our school-year volunteers to take a break so they can return refreshed and ready to go in the fall. We think Village Kids is a pretty fun place to be on Sunday mornings, and we think you will agree!

Village Women: Fruitful Devotional Book

Join us in going through the Fruitful Devotional Book this summer, beginning on June 1. We purchased books that we can all study at the same time, but on our own. This 40-day devotional explores each of the 9 fruits of the Spirit found in Galatians 5. Every daily reading includes a related verse to ponder, a reflection, additional Bible passages to read, and a prayer. This book is a great connection to our theme, Flourish, as well as building off of the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians. The summer provides a time when rhythms might be different, and having a Bible reading plan keeps you grounded.

The Creator’s Pattern: An Evening Exploring the Golden Ratio

    July 6 | 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. | Village Church of Bartlett

Join us for an evening exploring the beauty, order, and wonder woven into creation through the Golden Ratio. This mathematical proportion appears when the relationship between two parts reflects the relationship of the whole. This pattern is often found in nature, art, and design, where it creates a sense of balance, beauty, and harmony. Jennifer Anderson, M.A.EL., M.A.Ed., NBCT, will facilitate the evening, sharing how patterns in nature, design, and mathematics reveal glimpses of God’s wisdom and creativity. This evening is an opportunity to grow in awe of God, our incredible Creator, as He makes Himself known through the world He has made. While topics are mathematical, this evening is geared for the whole family to enjoy. If you know of someone who may enjoy this topic, please pass this registration along! There is no cost to attend, but please register so we can plan accordingly.
