Summer Picnic

May 24 | 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. | Village Church of Bartlett

The first picnic of the summer will be held in the green space behind the church on Promotion Sunday! This is sure to be an exciting kick-off to our summer picnics. Take a moment to read through these details:

  • Classroom 3 will be open in the morning for you to leave your dish(es) before you attend a service. Fridge space and electrical outlets will be available for temperature-controlled dishes.
  • Setup begins at 12:30 p.m. (directly after the third service), and we will eat at 12:45 p.m.
  • For this potluck, please bring a main dish and:
    • A dessert if your last name begins with A-L
    • A side dish if your last name begins with M-Z
  • Bring something to sit on (a picnic blanket, camping chairs, etc.) and disposable eating utensils (plates, cutlery, napkins).
  • Save the dates for future Summer Picnics on July 5, August 2, and September 13, all taking place at the Antioho Home.

    Community Groups

Looking for a deeper sense of community? Being part of a Community Group offers you consistent opportunities to fellowship with others, engage in purposeful conversation, receive encouragement from others, and to learn from one another.  Ultimately, these experiences help us as we seek to “reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13). Most Groups are made up of 8-12 men and women who meet weekly for fellowship and connection, Biblically-based discussion and a focused time of prayer.

We know everyone steps in at different comfort levels

At Village Church, we offer a few different ways for you to grow toward Jesus and connect with community.
