Summer at Village Church
During the summer, there are many ways to partcipate in our church family’s rhythms.
Discover Village
Beginning July 28 | 9:45 – 10:50 a.m. | Village Church of Bartlett
Please join us for a four-week class to learn more about Village Church, including our vision, values, ministries, and more! Attending Discover Village is your first step toward becoming a member of the Village Church of Bartlett. This class will meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 in Classroom One.
Summer Picnic & Baptisms
August 4 | 4:00 p.m. | Antioho Home
During the summer, we get outdoors for a monthly, late afternoon, church-wide picnic at Dave & Julie Antioho’s house (30W393 Army Trail Rd., Wayne, IL 60184). These picnics are a great time to connect with others and enjoy food, games, and swim time. Here is a brief timeline that you can expect for the evening. At 4:00, we will begin baptisms followed by a time of open swim. Please arrive by 5:00 p.m. to drop off your food and get set up so we can eat at 5:15. The pool will open again after dinner for open swim. If this is your first time joining us, here are some important things you need to know.
- It’s a potluck, so please bring a main dish and a dessert or side dish to share.
- If your last name starts with A-L, bring a dessert.
- If your last name starts with M-Z, bring a side.
- Bring something to sit on (a picnic blanket, camping chairs, etc.), disposable eating utensils (plates, cutlery, napkins), and bathing suits for the open swim time.
Save the dates for the final Summer Picnic on September 8.

Join us in-person or online for a Sunday worship service, or find classes and programming for all ages that gives you a chance to meet new people and grow in your faith.
On Your Own
Maybe you’re not ready to visit in-person or connect with a group yet. That’s fine! Our digital platform allows you to grow on your own at your own pace.
In a Group
Are you looking for a small group of people in a similar stage of life as you to connect with? We have many groups so you can find the one that best fits your needs.
A place for you and your children to grow in your faith and be supported by families in your stage of life.
