Young Adults

Village Church Young Adults (VCYA) is a ministry to young adults (25 and under) who are committed to following Jesus more closely and investing in one another's lives.

What is VCYA?

VCYA exists to disciple young adults (25 and under) as they take their next steps with Jesus. We share a meal and engage in conversation about the Bible and its authority over our lives in the midst of a challenging culture.

What does a typical gathering involve?

VCYA meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at Village Church of Bartlett. After sharing a meal, we move into a biblical discussion led by either Keith and Jen Anderson or a member of the group. The official wrap up time is 7:30 p.m., but people are always down to hang out for some scatter ball or slushees afterwards.

What does VCYA value?

  • TRUTH: Teaching the Bible as authoritative and necessary for personal transformation
  • EXPERIENCES: Regularly providing opportunities to learn from and connect with each other in meaningful ways
  • RELATIONSHIPS: Intentionally building spiritual relationships with peers and leaders
  • MINISTRY: Providing a gateway for young adults to use their spiritual gifts and talents in the local church

Bonfire

October 13 | 5:30 p.m. | Keith Anderson’s Home

Wrap up the summer with Village Church Young Adults at a bonfire! We will gather around the fire pit at the Anderson Home for dinner. After we eat, we’ll spend some time in a brief Bible study. Please make sure to bring your own Bible! After dinner, we’ll continue the hangout around the bonfire. Join our VCYA GroupMe to let us know you’re coming and get the address!
