Welcome to Village Church of Bartlett
Here are a few ways for you to join us, or get started on your own
Discover Village
Beginning June 7 | 9:30 – 10:35 a.m. | Village Church of Bartlett
Please join us for a four-week class to learn more about Village Church, including our vision, values, ministries, and more! Attending Discover Village is your first step toward becoming a member of Village Church of Bartlett. This class will meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in Classroom One.
Perennials: Summer Gathering
June 28 | 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. | The Graf Home
We would like to invite all 55+ adults to join us for a relaxing time to connect with others. Whether you come on a regular basis to Perennials or haven’t been able to gather with us, please feel free to stop by for some or all of the time. We are asking everyone to bring a dish to share with the group, and we will provide the drinks.
Summer Picnic
Join us for our next Summer Picnic at the Antioho Home! This is a chance to connect with others and enjoy food, games, and swim time. If this is your first time joining us, here are some important things you need to know:
-
For this potluck, please bring a main dish and a dessert if your last name begins with A-L, or a side dish if your last name begins with M-Z.
-
Bring something to sit on (a picnic blanket, camping chairs, etc.), disposable eating utensils (plates, cutlery, napkins), and bathing suits for the open swim time.
- Save the dates for future Summer Picnics on August 2 and September 13, both taking place at the Antioho Home.
The Creator’s Pattern: An Evening Exploring the Golden Ratio
July 6 | 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. | Village Church of Bartlett
Join us for an evening exploring the beauty, order, and wonder woven into creation through the Golden Ratio. This mathematical proportion appears when the relationship between two parts reflects the relationship of the whole. This pattern is often found in nature, art, and design, where it creates a sense of balance, beauty, and harmony. Jennifer Anderson, M.A.EL., M.A.Ed., NBCT, will facilitate the evening, sharing how patterns in nature, design, and mathematics reveal glimpses of God’s wisdom and creativity. This evening is an opportunity to grow in awe of God, our incredible Creator, as He makes Himself known through the world He has made. While topics are mathematical, this evening is geared for the whole family to enjoy. If you know of someone who may enjoy this topic, please pass this registration along! There is no cost to attend, but please register so we can plan accordingly.
Coffee Connections
July 26 | After each service
Looking to make some connections on Sunday morning? Stop by after any of the three services to chat with some of the church leaders and learn more about Village Church. Coffee Connections is primarily for newcomers who are looking to connect with a pastor or staff member.
Community Groups
Looking for a deeper sense of community? Being part of a Community Group offers you consistent opportunities to fellowship with others, engage in purposeful conversation, receive encouragement from others, and to learn from one another. Ultimately, these experiences help us as we seek to “reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13). Most Groups are made up of 8-12 men and women who meet weekly for fellowship and connection, Biblically-based discussion and a focused time of prayer.
We know everyone steps in at different comfort levels
At Village Church, we offer a few different ways for you to grow toward Jesus and connect with community.
