What Does FORGE Do?

Each Thursday, we hang out, play games, eat food, and listen to what God has to say to us through worship and teaching. Throughout the semester we have exciting events like Mario Kart Tournaments, Four Square Competitions, and lots of fun!

Volunteer with Forge

Disciple students in grades 7-12 as a Forge group leader. Small group leaders typically attend the weekly gatherings on Thursday from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Family Baptism Class

Next Gen: Promotion Sunday

May 25| After Each Service | Village Church of Bartlett

Join us in magnifying the Lord as we celebrate an amazing year with our Next Gen Team to celebrate the end of a school year well done! We will celebrate Village Kids, The 5/6, and Forge students who have completed another year. Join us in the green space in the back of the church building between services and after the third service for a time of play, celebration, and preparation for what is to come!

  1. Children should be dropped off in their classrooms for this school year one last time on May 25 and will celebrate the end of that grade.

  2. Parents, join your students out back and make sure they are ready to do some jumping and playing!

  3. Students entering 1st, 5th, 7th, and 9th grade in the fall of 2025 and graduating Seniors: stop by your ministry’s tables to receive a gift.

Students will be promoted to their next grade and start in those classes the following Sunday, June 1.

Forge Summer Missions: Lörrach, Germany

June 16-29 | Lörrach, Germany | ~$3,000Cost

This trip is open to incoming 9th grade – Graduated Seniors. We will work with TeachBeyond, an organization that recruits and sends Christian educators, administrators, and workers to serve in many different schools and organizations around the globe. Forge students will participate in a cooperative program conducted in conjunction with a local Christian ministry and other not-for-profit organizations, in the hopes of meeting the needs of national partners. We will take part in ‘structured exchanges,’ which will be interactions between our students and their German peers. Students will develop an understanding of the differences between the American and German Church and Christian cultures. There will also be cultural outings and activities to experience the local culture, and opportunities to do outreach and learn to share the gospel in a new context.

Vacation Bible School 2025 Magnified!

Vacation Bible School 2025

July 21-25 | Village Church of Bartlett

Forge Students, we want you to join us in serving for Magnified! our 2025 Vacation Bible School! Our amazing God is not only the Creator of all things, but He also cares about His creation, right down to the tiniest detail. And the Bible tells us that people are the most significant part of that creation. God created you and knows every detail about you—right down to the design of your fingerprints and the number of hairs on your head. God cares about everything that happens to you. Magnified! will encourage kids to look closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We can praise God together! We were made to magnify God!
